They are an advocacy group, they go where their audience is. Of you are looking for white dudes what's the point of looking for them in the fediverse, where 98% of them already agree with you?

Eh, if they were doing it on Mastodon nobody would see their campaigning. And of that tiny amount that do see them, they'd mostly be preaching to the choir.

For an average user you have a point, though.

As people have pointed out, they're an advocacy group, and trying to reach less aware people. The fact that Elon banned em shows it was most likely working.
