S-300/S-400 air defense system hit in Crimea on the night of October 27-28.

We analyzed Sentinel SAR images from October 13 and 24 near the village of Rusakivka in Crimea. They show the movement of air defense systems of the S-300/S-400 type.

A satellite image after the impact shows ruptures from ATACMS cluster submunitions and traces left after the damage to the air defense system elements. The extent of damage to the complex remains unknown, but it left its combat position and stopped its work in the area.

🤝 Together with Brave1, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Digital, the General Staff, the National Guard conducted demonstration tests of new Ukrainian developments - swarms of drones and guided munitions.

17 producer teams. 7 of them presented their developments in drone swarm technology, 10 - guided munitions. These solutions were at different stages of readiness and showed different approaches to problem solving.

We are working on the number of such products, but quality must come first. Defense must supply the military with innovative solutions that the Defense Forces really need now and in the near future. The most effective, up-to-date products designed for the conditions in which military operations take place.

So that the manufacturers could implement it, we gathered everyone together. Representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff saw what the Ukrainian manufacturer is capable of, and gave their recommendations for improving the products.

I am grateful to everyone involved in this demonstration. I thank the teams for their ingenuity, persistence in their work and willingness to improve. I am you and the results of your work. And I know: after the interaction that took place during this event, it will become even better 💪🇺🇦

Facing a shortage of planes due to Western sanctions, Russia is in talks with some Central Asian countries for their airlines to run domestic flights and help meet a pick up in travel demand.

Russian airlines, which use many Western aircraft delivered before the war in Ukraine, are struggling to meet growing demand for air travel as sanctions hinder access to parts and domestic production takes time to ramp up.

Transport Minister Roman Starovoit said last week Russia was in talks with so-called "friendly" countries, including Kazakhstan, about foreign airlines operating domestic flights, Russian news agencies reported.

Russia has also approached Uzbekistan, which is considering the proposal, an Uzbek government source told Reuters.
