:( NSW once again demonstrating it's place as the most conservative state.

It's a hat. It shouldn't cost hundreds of dollars. I just want something like a semi-fashionable floppy sunhat and a straw hat. I've only seen them in bougie a.f. places or the straw hats from bunnings that don't fit my comically large head.

Please, save me from melanoma or bankruptcy. Where can I find nice hats without leather/animal glues in sydney? Ideally western sydney.

In short:

There are potential delays on trains across NSW this morning, due to industrial action.

Transport for NSW has asked passengers to plan ahead, leave extra travel time and keep updated about any changes to services via their website.

What's next?

Despite the strike having ended, it's expected to have flow-on effects throughout the morning.

The article barely mentions the 'new way of building', it's mainly about cheaply leasing government land for housing dedicated to essential workers.

They really will do gymnastics to avoid just building public housing.

Notably ending eugenics against trans people, becoming the last state in aus to do so I think but hey progress.

To get it through labor demanded that religious schools still be able to fire or expel you for being queer though. Regular labor dub there.

In short:

Two people died after a multi-vehicle crash on the Sydney Harbour Bridge this afternoon.

A number of people injured in the crash, including a pregnant woman, have been taken to hospital.

The bridge has reopened in both directions after being closed for a number of hours.

Are there still places near the center in Sydney where you can get help to get electronics or clothes repaired? (Or get help to learn how to do it yourself?)

I find a bunch of events and places, but they all seemed to have disappeared or only organise paid workshops nowadays.

Paywalled source.

This thing is another massive blight on Sydney.

Sydney is among the few cities anywhere in the world to allow mining within its water catchment areas. Scientists have argued for years that the longwalls were causing cracks to reach the surface, diverting water away from some of the 1,000 upland swamps in the Woronora plateau and reducing inflows into nearby dams.

In short:

A real estate listing for a three-bedroom unit near Bronte Beach in Sydney has sparked outrage for a series of "red flag" rules for prospective tenants.

They include the tenant only being allowed to exit or enter the property outside the business hours of the kindergarten below, which is the only access point.

What's next?

The property has been removed from online real estate platforms.
