These are my first minis from Alternative Armies, and are part of their Flintloque game system.

Completed some more Ashigaru for use in various games. Tried using paint pens for the first time; it went 'ok'. Definitely quicker, though less control.

STL by Saga Minis on MMF.

Finally got over my fear of horses 😉. Cavalry unit for War of the Roses.

Some Ashigaru that have been sitting in a drawer for too long. Finally got around to painting them.

Quick paint of these ghoulish guys this afternoon. Loads of fun, with each model having personality. STL by knucklebones minis.

The other day I posted some goblins I made and painted, this weekend I painted the guards that I made for my upcoming campaign. The painting is getting a lot better and I am very proud of these ones.

Let me know what you think!

I've painted a couple of figures over the past year or two but this is my first army having tried to get into it a lot more these past few weeks.

I did them all one by one going one colour at a time. Printed on my 3d printer, comments and suggestions are very welcome. I would love to get a lot better!

Last project took me almost a year. This took less than three hours spread on four days. I like the eyes.

Though they'll likely never fight it or at the very least not anytime soon.

They're level 5, they won't face one of these for at least 10 levels.

Here are some Vendel warriors that I just finished. Not sure what I'll use them for yet, just liked the sculpts. STLs from Medbury Miniatures.

Okay, so this isn't painting, but I figured someone would know something about this. What kind of material us the Tamiya extra thin brush made of? I tried to use some cheap synthetic paint brushes with it, but they hardened and broke apart. Anyone have any luck finding a decent brush to use when applying extra thin for assembly?

It's got me painting more than ever.

So I'm getting ready to dive into the world of finally painting my Star Wars Legion minis. I'm planning on getting an Army Painter speedpaint 2.0 set to start. Should I also buy the wash set? I'm not sure if it would improve my results as a beginner, though I imagine I will want them if I keep up with painting. I'm intending to start by getting this Army Painter's stuff:

Speedpaint most wanted 2.0 set

Most wanted brush set

Matte white primer

Matte varnish

Project paint Station

Made a lot of mistakes such as magnetizing all arms and choosing a bone white colour scheme for the weapons which shows tiny errors immeadiately. All in all I like how they look from far away. Just don't pick up any for inspection.

I'm still pretty new to painting minis, but this has been a fun and pretty simple color scheme that looks (imo) pretty good too!

I printed and painting this Roper and the rocks for DnD night with my buds.

I was inspired by Conkers Bad Fur Day for the color scheme of the Roper.

Image Description: Pictured is a group of 4 printed and painted cone shaped rocks with a cone shaped creature in the middle that's brown with one red eye and yellow teeth. The color scheme is inspired by a boss called the Great and Mighty Poo (a giant pile of poop) from Conkers Bad Fur Day.

I 3D printed these minis a little while ago but only just recently found time to paint them. I should be able to get to my pile of shame (unpainted minis and unassembled model kits) soon with my schedule changes.

Image description: 5 3D printed painted skeleton miniatures with red cloaks, standing on grey rocky bases, and holding various weapons including a bow, a halberd, a mace, a spear, and a sword.
