If that comforts you, the debt per capita index is pretty much meaningless without any other external factorSwitzerland has one of the worst debt per capita and isn't a poor country by any means.

The USA also owes over 16T To other countries

Many people pointed this out in the link but yeah, it's much harder to make edits / entries in wikipedia nowadays.

The rules are more strict and you have to respect an increasing number of rules, etc.

I remember when Wikipedia started to get some steam, it was basically a text editor with very basic hyperlink-style formatting.

Minor changes / typos are still easy to do, but frankly I wouldn't know how to start anymore if I wanted to create a new entry.

I personally post relevant information to the communities I've created and moderate, but I'm not here to be an entertainer. I get a handful of upvotes so I guess it's useful to some people.

If Reddit fucks up even more I might have a bigger role, but so far it pretty feels like that Milhouse GIF playing frisbee with himself, and I'm sort of okay with that.

They would have never done this to a larger manufacturer, but since the prototype was a passion project by two tech enthusiasts they simply did not care at all. It's frankly disgusting.

The fact that wine and beer bottles are exempt from those Nutrition Facts labels is utter nonsense.

If people knew how much sugar and calories are in their drink maybe they would think twice

Weird, Firewatch was on GP like two months ago.

He talked about this in last week's WAN Show.

He explained that LTT has reached a saturation point in terms of viewership, and the only way to get more views is through quantity.

At least he's blunt about it. Maybe the solution is to focus more on the entertainment style videos and diverge from serious graph-driven content

I agree. I can already see a slight shift in his attitude since he stepped down, but clearly it's not enough.

I simply cannot stand LTT. I wish there was a TLDW bot on lemmy. I've seen it in a couple of posts.
