I've tended not to link to them because they're deep in the woods of "get fossil fuels companies as the main sponsors of our climate reporting" — to the point that the first person they hired to do a climate newsletter resigned over it.

The claimed properties aren't terribly better those in the system being used by Holocene; Guananine releases CO2 starting around 120°F, but it needs to get a bit hotter than that to do it reasonably quickly.

They did try an end to drilling permits, and lost in court — the US court system considers drilling rights to be a property right once you have a lease, so you can't easily just say no.

They then cut the issuance of leases to the congressionally-mandated minimum.

They're junk because what's being bought and sold — a transferrable renewable energy credit — doesn't actually result in any additional renewable energy being installed.

It displaces the use of nitrate fertilizers, which are made using huge amounts of methane. It's one less use of fossil fuels.

That's a big deal.
