What got people to vote for Biden but not Harris? A dire need. Not voting for Biden meant that Trump stayed in office. Even though the stakes were the same, too many people sat on the couch thinking it was going to happen again and they didn't have to go.

So.. Diogenes?

Replace half your milk with buttermilk and watch then grow super fluffy in the pan. And a nice flavor as well.

For all these responses, it's not just pasta sauce or pancake mixes. And yes, the she does let me doctor things up sometimes. It just gets irritating when I make a sauce, it's delicious, and then she buys a jar version because "you like this kind of sauce". I found a great soup recipe I want to try, ask for specific ingredients and she just buys the canned version of the soup. I've talked with her before about it when she brought home a cookie mix. I used to make homemade cookies when I was depressed, and it would cheer me up. She suggested I make the mix, all I had to do was add some eggs and water, and we can have the cookies. I had to tell her it wasn't the cookies that made me feel better.

Nostalgia for what her mother used to make.

The pancake mix was a particularly stupid argument in my opinion. She said that's what her mom always made and she likes it. It's hard to argue against it since her mom has been passed for about 15 years now. She tried to pull nostalgia on me, and I don't have nostalgia for food.

Sometimes, leftovers don't reheat the same way.

She will insist on the mixes.

I have this argument with my wife often. I like to cook, and for me cooking is more than taking frozen meatballs and dumping them into a pan full of jar pasta sauce. I would rather make the sauce, maybe have some meatballs made in advance. My wife seems to think that pre-made stuff or mixes are the way to go. I would rather just make pancakes scratch, which isn't hard, where she would rather I just open the mix, add water, and make the food. But I do agree that having a frozen lasagna is better than taking the full effort when I just want to get dinner going. So where are your eat the pre-made vs make it from scratch?

No, once he kicked his heroin habit, he kicked her to the curb.

I had a friend who tried the same thing, bars and such. He didn't try anybody in his friend group and he was more ir less isolated at work, so there was no real pool of people to look into. I suggested getting a cheap seat at the ballpark and he balked saying he didn't like sports. I told him even if he walked the concourse, there were still folks he could interact with. He ended up finding some girl who was an actual prostitute and got him hooked on drugs.

Not looking for smut to read, just looking to see how often open tries actually happen.

I would like to explain that I'm not looking for dirty stories and such. I have been exploring the more extreme tropes in porn to see if they happen IRL or not. Probably should have explained better, but there it is. There are some ideas used that are rather extreme, and I start wondering how much it actually happens.

I've been working on this on and off, could use some other eyes to help expand features, maybe some pull requests. Let me know what you think. I just uploaded version 0.0.12 and I am going to start working on 0.0.13. The CMS is built in a bundle, so that's where most of the features are. What I have linked here is the skeleton app, but installation is still beefy. Thanks everyone!

Edit: Forgot the link to the bundle https://github.com/SeleneSoftware/seleneCMSBundle

Is the pay better? Is the amount of BS from management lower? How about the customers?

Lately, I have been having a problem with finding in-person players. I have visited shops to find them full of Magic and other TCG players, but no role-players. Several game stores in my area are like this. I have posted on relevant socials and Discords like the Discord server for a game store, local area RPG players Discord and FB pages, LFG groups on reddit and Lemmy and Discord. I'm wondering if anybody else has this problem, and how are you trying to solve this?

For some years now, I have been using Laravel Homestead to quickly build up a virtual machine with all I needed installed. But it seems to not quite get the love it needs, and I'm wondering if folks have moved on to a different environment or tool for their development.

I'm building out an e-commerce frontend for the ERP my company uses, and I am being slightly lazy while working on the shopping cart to start. I've noticed in many other stores guest carts, or not having to be logged in to purchase. How necessary is it to have guest shopping?
