I believe I saw seasons in the trailer which hopefully means we can simulate a full calendar year with appropriate weather! I also saw a lot of details with regard to the trams which is a welcome sign. It's a paradox game so the inevitable DLCs will come eventually, but this looks like a great starting point for the game.

Not a fan of this decision. Considering they said in MSFS2020 that they planned to support the game for a decade, it seems very premature to release a new game like this, especially since it seems like very little has changed in the engine to warrant an upgrade to a new product.
I'm assuming this is going the Train Sim World route where everything gets brought forward into the next version, but there are exclusive features locked to 2024. Not a big deal if there will be a substantial discount for previous owners, but I think we all know what Asobo is going to decide.
It does suck a little, but I will say that once I had my main account on reddit banned, it felt like I realized I spent so much dumb effort trying to up my karma, that I took a step back and thought, wow I'm addicted to this and it's ultimately meaningless. I still post on reddit, but definitely more constructive, and the Fedeverse is much better since it's decentralized, and there's no central karma aggregate if that makes more sense.
Not a fan of Jerboa, but I realize that it's early days. Hopefully we can get some of the UI people from the 3rd party reddit apps on here to develop a better client.
Unless you're on an iPhone, setting up Revanced takes less than 10 minutes and very rarely breaks anything. If you want to support your YouTube creators, then sure pay for premium, but it baffles me how someone could have the technical prowess to set up a Lemmy account, but then balk at something like this. If anything, mobile might be one of the last frontiers now that they're starting a war against adblock.
