I don't know if I'm doing it wrong, but I'm using sync and I'm not seeing any ads at all.

I also have DNS66 through f-droid though...

No love for DNS66? Are there better ways to block ads now?

Thanks for this! Love his writing. Just pledged for the audiobook on Kickstarter.

My move lately has been to stand their windshield wipers up. You're not doing anything criminally damaging to their vehicle, but in my experience, anyone this self-important will be really bothered by the thought of some random person putting their dirty hands on their precious baby.

I disagree, but I uovoted you anyway. ;-)

My nephew is really into Plants vs Zombies, and I'll admit, it's sucked me in too. I'm trying to impress him by getting my name at a respectable position on the Endless Leaderboard on Xbox, but I'm having some trouble with my controller missing button presses when I go to arm a Cob Cannon for missile launch.

I can't believe I'm actually considering upgrading to an Xbox Series S in order to get smoother performance out of Plants Vs Fucking Zombies...

My wife is of the opinion that a lot of these policies are being designed to make her work environment miserable. One of the main perks of that job is that two of her close friends also work there. The chef recently instituted a policy that the three of them are not to be scheduled on any shifts together because they "talk to each other too much".

This shift switch approval policy is new. Before, any shift swich had to be logged in a book, with both employee's initials. Now, the manager also needs to approve the shift change, and she's wanting to know why the change is requested, before she decides if she thinks it's important enough to allow.

It's a person with .0001 oz of power, trying to get the most out of it.

I see what you're saying, but we're not talking about requesting a paid personal day. We're talking about having you're shift covered by another person, and having that denied because management doesn't like the reason you want the shift covered.

Well, In 10+ years, I've never managed to understand how Twitter works, so I guess there's nowhere to go but up?
