it's not only clouds, everyone uses open source and like whole secure WWW etc. is using openssl, every site uses some kind of open source js library, should they all go proprietary because they don't pay?

yeah, i'd understanding rejecting software promoting crypto, like brave, but rejecting apps for accepting crypto donations is kinda kinky fetish in my book, also if you cancel f-droid just because they allow crypto related apps you should ban whole distros for hosting crypto packages in heir repositories

Excluding really good software such as f-droid just because it somehow mentions cryptocurrency? Seems ridiculous

I'm not saying an event like that didn't happen, but as far as we know a single event is blown out of proportions by Fox, it's reported out of the context all over the world, giving people the feeling it's a common occurrence

Lol, I remember -ac kernel, it has a modified I/O scheduler or something, also I remember using some guys kennel, he went silent one time, after some weeks the guy's wife wrote on the forum he fell off the ladder, became a vegetable and soon died...

I've been seeing this surfacing a lot lately, two curious things:

  • Fox - right wing, republican and conservative media known for being against global warming, renewables and electric cars, is the only source of this, all other media link back to Fox
  • Only happening in Chicago, people in other regions with the similar conditions report no such issues

Yeah, I was a Linux user at the time, I remember 2.4 to 2.6 kennel transition, it was a breath of fresh air, filesystem wars, some people liked xfs, others jfs, normies used ext3, reiser4 with all the shit they promised, like accessing mp3 on the filesystem level etc was mind-blowing, them he killed his wife...

Looks like they're removing the toggle making it always enabled, probably because nobody used the phone mic while connected via Bluetooth

It can be kinda annoying but it's not that cumbersome, imagine writing an alternative text for each image you post, now imagine it's considered a good practice in the professional internet and near requirement when posting on mastodon, but yeah, being able to set a default language for posts and comments would be nice

also it would be nice if people would respect those settings while commenting and posting, not once I've seen English comment without language set and non English comments tagged as English
