BBC? Biased? I am shocked. Shocked! Well, not that shocked.

My favorite was one where a girl was like "On my way to cancel out my Republican sister's vote" and then after it went viral posted another video saying "Jk, we both voted for Kamala. We would never support someone who's trying to take away our rights"

Remember when Microsoft said Windows 10 would be the last version of Windows?

Orange his house, with an orange little window and an orange corvette

I don't think making art in the style of a copyrighted piece of work is wrong. Like writing a fanfic in an existing world (Harry Potter, LOTR, Blade Runner, etc.) isn't copyright infringement, it's covered by fair use. I think Alcon are suing the wrong person. A better case for copyright infringement is the AI company who trained their AI using copyrighted material that they almost certainly did not have permission to use.

The Onion has gotten to the point where its headlines are true with the satire being only in the body of the article. He has accused her of lying about having a job in the White House. He thinks he won the election so she's not the VP

I think what they're trying to say is that if asking AI to make something in the style of Blade Runner is copyright infringement, that opens the door to asking an artist to make something in the style of Blade Runner being copyright infringement. I don't know how I personally feel about that, but it's at least how I interpreted the comment.

One word: Kristallnacht

Oh, I didn't know that started on Kickstarter

There's only one thing I can think of that actually succeeded out of Kickstarter, and that's the Pebble watch. Still the best smartwatch ever made imo

You should look at importing a kei truck from Japan. They're tiny little things but the bed is still about the same size as an American pickup. They're cheap too, including any extra import fees, still less than a truck here, I think like $10,000 total. And if you like working on cars, it seems like it'd be fun to convert to an EV.
