The title is an opinionated interpretation of a fact, not a fact.
The crackdown was aimed at web-based services like e-commerce and ads and "innovative" ponzi scheme like cryptos.
But now that the US has launched a Tech war against China, China needs to develop their own core technologies: Hardware, Chips, AIs. Softwares, etc.
It's just a fucking chatbot! You don't need to be so sensational.

I always create the local repo first with git init, make at least 1 commit, and then gh repo create.
And yes, my default branch would be master but why should I care if I offend some Americans.
I continue to name all my master branches master because, as a non-American, I don't want to abide by corporate moral signaling.

US politics is 2 parties on paper, but in reality, it is a 1 party state with the purpose of dividing the common people by groups so that they are weak against the ruling class.
