It’s just as shocking to me but after doing .NET Core dev (on my Mac) I can’t imagine going back to Java. .NET feels actually more modern (almost sane Scala-like)

I love the thought of the story being true but I have to be the wet blanket and say that it has been debunked. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/andrew-tate-arrested-jerrys-pizza-box/

I bought the steam deck with the intention of using it as a retro emulator, it definitely works great!

Basically showing that “abstinence only” approaches are rarely the correct approach. I went from smoking -> vaping -> pouch -> nothing. It was a long journey but it worked.

I’ve been using it, currently tied with Mona as favorite app, what an abundance of choice! Hoping the same can happen in the Lemmy sphere in time

I’m using Mlem on my iPhone and even the early beta is better than the official Reddit app

I notice on some posts I look at them through my instance and see less comments than if I go to the page on the instance of the post. Is this expected? I never really quite understood how it works but makes me wonder how much I’m seeing

They are just like large comment threads, it kinda works but it’s not great (maybe mastodon clients can improve it?)

If you search for your username in a mastodon client you can see it. Here is my mastodon post mentioning yours
