Williams hasn’t won a Formula 1 title since 1997. In recent years, they’ve become all too familiar with the back of the grid. But after Alex Albon’s mighty P7 in Canada, is Team Principal James Vowles starting to turn things around? Speaking to Tom Clarkson at the team’s base in Grove, James outlines what success looks like for Williams in the near future and the lessons he learned from Mercedes. Plus, hear how Lewis Hamilton compares to other World Champions James has worked with, and much more.

Remapped it to Jellyfin app on mine. Kind of ironic :)

First of all, as a long time Love Live fan (since first SIP), I am once again amazed how far has this franchise come in terms of production quality – both animation and sound. Well deserved congratulations to Sunrise and Lantis for not only keeping Love Live alive all these years but also improving it.

As for the today's episode, I like the setting. Weird mix of magic, this characteristic pseudo-medieval generic fantasy style, and modern technology like cars, trains, train station announcers etc. seems appealing to me, and nothing really felt out of place. Not much in terms of plot to talk about as for now.

Anyway, I wonder how it will be received by viewers who are not part of Love Live fandom.

Hitech was never on my list of entities I expected to join F1. I hope this will not fizzle out, though realistically I suspect this will be just another US F1/Stefan GP.

Hitech Grand Prix has confirmed that it has submitted an application to the FIA to join the Formula 1 grid in 2026. (...) Hitech, which has a successful set up in the junior categories, confirmed on Monday that it has submitted a bid to establish its own squad.

His 14 F1 seasons were filled with drama, shocks and history. Three-time Grand Prix winner Giancarlo Fisichella made headlines for underdog teams and World Championship-winners. Fisi tells Tom Clarkson about winning with Jordan, helping Renault teammate Fernando Alonso become a two-time World Champion, his astonishing pole and podium for Force India in 2009 and the ‘pressure and power’ he felt as an Italian driving for Ferrari!

Join Sam Collins for a trip down memory lane, as he investigates an all-important question... what was the first car ever to be used as a Safety Car in Formula 1? Take a look back through the pages of history, as well as a look at our two modern interpretations: The ferocious Mercedes-AMG GT R, and the ear-splitting Aston Martin Vantage!

I think it still should be possible with combination of native Steam and Steamtinkerlaunch, although I haven't done that in a while. Check this guide.

It's a shame really. This is a team which for multiple decades punched far above their weight with limited resources. Nowadays it's impossible to cheer for them.

Great race. Loved those last lap moves from Norris, Ocon and Stroll. Well deserved DotD for Albon. Feeling bad for Tsunoda though, that 6.4 pit stop was painful to see.

Although I do not necessarily agree with some of these reasons, I understand. For clarity, I am a long time F1TV subscriber, but without pirate streams I would probably never even start watching F1, not to mention less popular motorsports, and I know how difficult it is to find a reliable one. That's why I was concerned about this. I reckon, as you suggest, a separate community for sharing ways to watch F1 would be a good way to go about this.

[–] janoosh@szmer.info 1 points 1 year ago (3 children)

That's a valid point. Mega thread for streams seems like a good idea, this would make sharing and finding them easier if they are kept in one place. Considering people would probably not only share streams in English but in other languages as well it would also keep cluttering the community to a minimum. I did not consider that before, and I hope people managing this community seriously consider this.

Agreed, kinda weird decisions about copying Reddit rules and pirated content. It's not like this community is being run by FOM, and where's the harm anyway? People will be sharing links in private messages anyway, so might as well allow that in public and regulate it.

Lewis was the same, now when he has a worse car people call his driving "vintage". I wonder, if Max sticks around for couple of years more and somehow RBR manage to screw up their car, if we will see a "vintage Max" as well.
