No.

You have a kid, but it's your decision.

Sounds like she's trying to skip the part where she fucked up and she should apologize to you and give you some space. Instead she's leaving you an impossible choice.

But you can talk to your son and tell him how much it stings and that you just can't do it. Sure you can "put all the bad blood behind" but it takes two for that and you can't force someone to reconcile by pressuring them with their son and luring them with a paid for vacation.

This makes me mad for you, this is so unfair. No one has to take that offer, and your son will understand. Maybe your ex will understand too, but it looks like she's still too immature to understand right now.

Really hard to give advice when there's a lot of factors involved, like:

  • how long have you been together with your kid and your second wife?
  • did she know what she was signing up to?
  • how much time are you dedicating to her vs to the kid?

And then, jealousy is a subjective feeling. Now because you know how she feels, if you are spending basically no time with her then you might be able to carve out some more time for the both of you, but the main part of dealing with the feels is on her. Growing a better connection to you or the kid is also on her. And communication is key. Relationships are hard and complicated, that's why you gotta talk a lot.

I think there's currently over a hundred potential victims individually or collectively suing him.

And before anyone starts searching, please take this trigger warning. It's one of those cases that seems to have about the worst allegation making him look like a real monster.

We'll see how much of that will stick in trial but it's looking really bad for him.

Yes. There is either asshole or asshole but purrs occasionally.

As a German, this the insane things our parents, grandparents and institutions warned us about. People begrudgingly accepted their lead in the hopes that "although it's an authoritarian, maybe he will take care of our goals". What followed was the cruelty of 1939 to 1945 and no one deserves to live through that, not even the idiots that got us in this mess.

Lovely game tbh, can recommend if you just wanna have something to do for a while without thinking too much.

Ahsoka Tano.

She is driving everyone crazy but she cares so much, and empathize with her so much.

Man, the clone wars really fucked me up didn't it...

This one is far more important than it seems: take care of you nips! At longer distances they can get bruised so bandaids or similar things are advised.

I feel you.

Felt that way a lot with friends and it makes me irrationally angry when it happens multiple times in a row, so I make it a point to ask other people what they were gonna say before they got interrupted. Makes everyone be more respectful and the people who get interrupted feel heard and can share their stories still.

But yeah pretty sure this is the exact reason I kinda distanced myself from one of my friends. She didn't even acknowledge when I said something so I was just present and that's about the only reason she wanted me there for I assume. Still makes me mad considering how much I tried to improve my social skills and stuff just to be a ghost irl again.

Honestly there's almost no way a sitting president gains popularity but considering his stance on Israel and stuff he sure as hell would lose some. I honestly don't think it would have been better.

Maybe being more policy specific would have helped Kamala. But the Democrats just have so much PR damage they haven't addressed over time, they are not doing themselves any favors. Humility can be an incredible thing but if you're a politician being humble is the hardest thing to fake, so if you're not, you're not gonna try if you're smart enough.

As a leftist (not in the US though) we just gotta take the L and that's that. I'll be waiting for the drop in support for Republicans after the fact and the following damage report from Rumpsteak's presidency. Let's just hope we get a competent cleaning crew to deal with the damage.

Also reminder that I'm on the hindsight 20/20 high horse so it's very easy to criticize, but I genuinely thought Kamala had a chance and it was a good idea so it's not like I make a good oracle lol.

Yeah none of this is good advice generally.

A person who just made a suicide attempt nedds routine and normality but with a lot of friendly interactions sprinkled throughout that.

Sometimes family can even be one of the reasons a person gets so driven to go that far.

So cutting off contact and potentially making his family put even more pressure on him is one of the worst things you could do.

Cutting off contact only helps if you can't handle the situation or the person anymore, and that still doesn't help them, it just shields you from mental stress.

Das würde Kinder für 16 Jahre daran hindern an jeglichem Online-Diskurs teilzunehmen und Eltern daran die Kinder langsam und Schritt für Schritt an das Internet heranzuführen.

Find ich ne ziemlich dumme Idee...

I just had an ad appear while scrolling through the comment section of a post.

No big deal in itself, but: the ad started to play at volume even though I put my media viewer in auto mute. It's night and I don't wanna wake people up with videos I never even wanted to see and even tho I didn't click anything wrong.

Is this how it should be? Is there an option to disable audio on ads? I have auto mute on enabled for my media viewer; why does this not automatically apply to ads as well?

I get that this app has ads to survive but there's always a nice and a really annoying way to do it and this is definitely on the annoying side for me rn.

I switched to Windows 11 about a year ago. A few months ago my PC started randomly crashing and rebooting, without any blue screens.

Am I the only one? Does someone know anything about this?

Pretty sure I can rule out power surges or overheating or stuff like that. There's been no indication. The system log is empty as well, apart from Windows being annoyed that it just got restarted without any notice.

For me in the top of the image, there should be download button and stuff.

The top is white and the symbols are white. There's no gradient. I literally can't see it.

I know this is dumb but I think it's also an easy fix as the bottom already has a gradient.
