Tthe problem is now if you have the store disabled basic shit, like the ability to open .heic files is broken or use stuff people want like sticky notes is broken.

We turn off most of what we can’t but having the store enabled causes all sorts of stuff.

Also windows 11 has ads baked in even with the store disabled. Plug in a Logitech mouse, get a pop up for their software. Open the picture viewer and get an ad to install some video editor that isn’t clear whether it’s a Ms product or not.

No to mention basic things like copy paste and edit are now weird icons because I guess they think most users are illiterate.

Most of the 11 UI changes are not for the better. Having to beta test it for work is frustrating and I run an IT shop.

I mean I agree the war on drugs and the way it’s policed is not the right call. But after looking at what’s happening in Oregon. Not sure I’m totally for just straight up legalize all the things. OD rates are up, and apparently it’s quite common for folks to be nodding off all over the place. It’s not the psechedelics like marijuana and lsd, it’s the synthetic opioids and harder drugs like heroin doing real damage.

Thats a fair point. Whoever directed these should has asked or cut out the jokes. Really shows they continually failed to read the room.

Agree. So is Sick Love. Same with their recent albums, which are much more funky than even Dark Necessities.

If it was just that then maybe I could read that. But given most other managers prior tried to shove in some random, totally awkward and out of place plug or joke to lighten the tone, that is not how it was read by me (and that’s not my YouTube video to be clear.).

It’s all contextual.

They definately have phases. Like By the way was clearly more 50s , Beatles and do wop insipired than funk. Klinghoffer were definately less funky overall too, except dark necessities did have a few solid tracks.

I legit have videos of my kids reacting to that song and stopping, freaking out and dancing their toddler asses off.

You would be surprised. They seem to be a very love them or hate them type of band. They were pretty wild in the early days too (pre cali), so had some bad press during a lot of the me too/cancel culture thing.

I’m a huge fan of Frusciante. Like he’s basically the reason I learned anything on guitar.

I’m a bit fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and really anything John Frusciante or Josh Klinghoffrr
