don't know about wayland, but kde works almost perfectly, even though there are some very minor bugs.

no I mean this https://store.steampowered.com/app/823130/Totally_Accurate_Battlegrounds/. I remember it used to work sometime ago, as it is also shown on protondb.

oh ok. here is the log https://pastebin.com/FQSf9TUN, I have only included errors and warnings but if you need anything else I'll try to include more stuff. But the log file was bigger than 512kB. Anyaway I searched my error online and found it is likely a driver issue, but I'm pretty sure my drivers are ok.

P.S: After a more careful look I noticed this:

12163.213:0128:0198:err:kerberos:kerberos_LsaApInitializePackage no Kerberos support, expect problems
12163.215:0128:0198:err:ntlm:ntlm_LsaApInitializePackage no NTLM support, expect problems

I have no Idea what they mean tho

the game just doesn't start, I also tried switching from X11 to Wayland, but almost nothing changed. I am using proton GE8-25, and I have an Nvidia GPU with the proprietary drivers. I tried different launch options but none worked. Here are my specs.

yeah I am also italian and I have to say that pineapple pizza doesn't taste bad, just very unpizzalike.

the title says it all, but if you want a little more context, I got a 1024*6 px skybox, and the game starts before it loads, making it appear suddenly while the game is already running

So, as the title says, I want to try bedrock linux, but I have a couple questions.

  1. can I get the GPU drivers and the kernel from fedora, and all the other software from other repos, like tumbleweed, without running into incompatibilities? If there is the risk of running into incompatibilities, how can I achieve a similar result(stable kernel and drivers, leaning edge rolling packages)? Is it even possible to achieve such thing easily?
  2. do I choose any init system I want or is there a default? is it hard to change it?

my skill level with linux is about able to use gentoo level, if that can help define what hard could mean to me.

we still doing linux rices?

So, as the title says, I am going to build my first desktop pc this year and I need help choosing the right components for my budget, it's not a very strict budget but I would prefer to stay under 1400€. I've already read some info around the internet and would like to get an Intel Core i5-12600, An Nvidia RTX 3060 12gb VRAM, and 16 gb of DDR5 RAM. Is this a good combination or should I get different components? Will 16gb RAM be enough? And also, does the thing to mount the CPU cooler on the LGA1700 socket come together with the CPU cooler or do I have to buy it separately? For the CPU cooler I think I will get a thermalright peerless assassin 120 SE, since I heard it is a good cooler for the price. For the motherboard I was thinking a TUF B760-PLUS WIFI. For building the pc I already know someone who can do it for me. If you can recommend a case, preferably with steel or mesh side panel, I would appreciate it.

Basically what happens is my monitors are positioned incorrectly. So the monitor that should be to the right is to the left and vice versa. This makes using my setup quite difficult, since I have to move the mouse to the left to get to the monitor that's physically on my right side. Can someone show me an example configuration for xorg.conf? I am using the proprietary Nvidia driver if that changes anything. I also have an Intel integrated GPU but I don't really need an hybrid graphics setup for now, and want to use my Nvidia GPU.
