Magic earth is really good for free navigation. Osmand is better if you hike and/or need bicycle paths and so on.

"'It's the same as shaving your own chin: the scalpel blade has to move in the opposite direction of the hair's growth. It has to be a delicate and gentle motion,' said Willot."

You should not shave against the grain. It causes razor burn and in-grown hairs.

Not sure if you could do this by polling repo with RSS reader with specific parameters. I don't know how but quick googling around that has been suggested previously.

I don't know but they do. I picked the cheapest name I could find and went with it.

Checked and they still do sell domains for 10y but price has gone up.

I just use steamcmd (depending on the game) and make my own launchers for each server. It isn't ideal though so i might check that Pterodactyl myself, forgot that it's a thing :)

Jellyfin would work for that too.

No matter which solution you end up just make sure you have no compromises on security.

Same here, I'm too paranoid and checking access logs and attempts made me to stop keeping any other port open than wireguard.

So you just need VPN for one time purchase or how? Asking for a friend.

Self hosting mail server is one of the worst ideas. You need to have top notch security, always updating patches and on top of that somehow manage to get your mail not to go into spam folder. Google and Microsoft don't usually like self hosted emails.

If you still are going to go through with this, good luck! I'm going to check regularly how your path goes. Sadly I can't help you at all, just some wide words repeated by others.
