Has anyone had any luck with using the wayback machine as an alternative? It may not work on more recent posts, but it should be a viable option for protesting subreddits and routing traffic away from Reddit.
I wonder how difficult it would be to make an extension that handled the redirection.
MX records show Twitter is using Google Workspace too. I wonder if Google would threaten shutting down email and document access in addition to GCP.

With a subreddit that popular, I wonder if doing that will just turn it into another Digg/HD-DVD situation. Protest posts inundating the subreddit until it's eseentially shut down again.

This whole situation feels like a short term revenue grab. I bet shareholders are trying to inflate the numbers in order to cash out in the IPO.
