I figured it out! Remove the exif data and it won't auto rotate.

Lovely story and good job on not letting them take advantage of that father and son. Congrats on your career!

400s errors are server side. 500s errors are your side.

Oooh. "Disruptive coloration" sounds like a fun thread or community to create!

Those nestlings are likely not getting chased since eagles and owls hunt from a high vantage point or while flying. The nestlings spotted pattern helps them blend in with their surroundings/foliage.

Eventually your friends will all end up going their own ways too, forging their life paths. Doesn't mean you won't see them again and you'll meet new people. It just takes a little more effort since you all won't be in the same place anymore.

Don't stunt your future because of fear. Flip that energy into excitement and look towards the what could be. You got this.

Onward and upward.

Definitely. I tried adding some communities from programming.dev and managed to find and sub to one by pasting the entire URL and searching for it a few times. When I tried another community, no dice.

I've never heard of taking off your shoes, but I absolutely hate walking on graves. I'll just stand by the road or try to walk in between rows if I have to be closer.

You can search by:

  • Subscribed = only communities you've subscribed to
  • Local = only the instance you're a part of
  • All = all instances that have been federated with your instance, including your own.

You can also filter by specific communities, creators, or by keyword(s).

If you want to add a community from another instance that you can't find in search, you can either enter:

  • !communityName@instance.name Or
  • Paste the full url into your instance's search bar. It may take some time to find, subscribe, and sync to it though.

You can search for more communities at browse.feddit.de. Also, it's easier to just do this from a browser rather than the apps available.

As for apps- Jerboa for Android and Mlem for iOS.
