Good call on Shrek Forever After. I liked all the Shrek credits.

  • There’s Something About Mary
  • Grumpy Old Men (my parents made me watch it when it came out. I was a kid, but I still remember enjoying the credits)

I always wondered what happened to Hero’s.

Yes! It was good. My partner didn’t expect the twist, but also I had to fill in what wasn’t explicitly said about the camera cleaning and the vision of the world people had when they were sent out to clean. What was the significance of the badge at the end?

I read the first book probably around the time it came out and liked it. I planned to read the rest of the series, but forgot about it until the TV show. I’m excited about the next season. There was enough differences between the first book and the first season that I feel like it’s okay to read the next books while I wait for the season.

And through quiet neighborhood communities where people are out in the streets playing with the kids, walking the dog or getting a run in.

Someone in my neighborhood got hit while walking their dog by someone using Waze.

Scratching my head … I’m not sure I fully understand how the different communities interact with one another.

Thanks! I really appreciate reading that.

I’m rereading Anil’s Ghost by Michael Ondaatje. I read it when it came out and was deeply moved by it. Even though it was a huge success when it was released it feels like it feel off a cliff of people’s consciousness a year or two later.
