Also, it's clearly not working, because you can't buy insurance 100 years out. All the insurance companies do is jack up the prices every year until a property becomes uninsurable. As for house prices, the lower cost and therefore most at-risk ones are the only options for the poor. They have no options but to take the risk.

Pumped hydro is not exactly a dam. There's a hole and 2 water reservoirs. Yes there's a cost but so does anything.
You also can't just turn nuclear on or off. You'd need to also get rid of existing solar. Ie: get people to disconnect rooftop solar to make nuclear work.
My guess is that the intent here is to destabilise any investment in green tech. Whatever loans were being given out probably have a higher interest with the probability that the LNP get in.
Eat is a big one. Then wear, because it's part of your identity. Drive is somehow easier even though many might notice that it's not at all easy.
