@AAA I'm also writing from Friendica. I think communities in Lemmy and forums in Friendica and Hubzilla are mutually compatibly. You can decide to alter your community/forum to be invite-only to combat spam and only allow inviting or suggesting to invite nice people (with potentially penalties imposed on the inviter otherwise similar to lobste.rs).
