Thanks! Heading out for my first 30+ miler in a bit. Doing the physical therapy exercises required after being hit by cars in the past on my bike. The random encouragement is appreciated!

Turns out the large property management companies have been colluding on this for years, skirting the law because "it's an algorithm bruh"

Tagging onto this: there's tons of games to play that have regular tournaments. I run Warhammer 40k tournaments for my local store, and while you occasionally get tryhards that are less fun, the overwhelming majority of the community just feels like a bunch of people getting together to play plastic soldiers for a day. The new Disney game Lorcana is taking off, and there's tons of different tabletop games besides just board games to try at a local store!

This is right by the cricket club right? I remember admiring it several times myself!

I was looking for this comment just to post:

Asimov has a short story I just read while backpacking in the mountains this past weekend. It's about humanity attempting to reverse entropy. The Last Question is probably my favorite short story ever.

Yeah Alexandria was sheltered from the worst; was expecting to lose power and it was barely a storm by the time it rolled in!

Having grown up in the Midwest, I keep seeing these tornado warnings and prepping to head to the basement. My girlfriend who's actually survived a Midwest tornado was laughing at me saying "oh honey, at worst it's an F1, which is just more strong wind gusts."

Which ok, fair, these aren't as bad as tornado alley. But still, stay safe everyone!
