At the same time, anything too low will be suspicious or unrealistic.

Or even just a paper form.

Right, and for me personally that's fine. I respect that others have different requirements or desires in that regard.

What is that something? "I am dissatisfied with how that instance that I'm not on and don't need to use is run?" What are you whining about?

I'm willing to bet close to 100% of lemmy.world users are from reddit. Where does this sense of superiority come from?

You might already know this, but you can use a Kagi without logging in on private tabs using a "session link" that looks like https://kagi.com/search?token=%5BLONG TOKEN HERE]. (Of course, this session link is not perfectly anonymous because the token is presumably tied to your account.)

Same issue with the Ankermake M5. Don't buy it.

Yeah, even my Bolt is pretty zippy.

People are in denial downvoting you. The useful stuff is still mostly on Reddit. I'm committed to the decentralized option but there's no use pretending.

I think that's closer to what Diaspora hoped to achieve, but maybe I'm misremembering some details.

I also wish that was made clear in the text, you're not alone.

Seems like taking a stab at what Mycroft failed to achieve. That's interesting to me.

I was made moderator of the /c/TrueAnon on the lemmy.ml instance a while ago, and none of my actions have ever federated to lemmy.ml, so I gave up. Thought I'd try again after this upgrade and still no dice. The response I'm getting back from the API when I try to add my lemmy.ml account to moderator status is "not_a_moderator." Is this a transient federation issue or are there more fixes required for this scenario to work correctly?

Looking forward to this machine. The only thing that would preempt my purchasing a Framework 16 might be the System76 Virgo laptop, but that seems to still be in early dev.

The sole moderator hasn't been active for 2 years. I just want to remove/update the sticky post for the most part. And no disrespect for @SmellyFingers62@lemmy.ml, if they come back I'm happy to add them as a moderator once again.
