The square of any prime number >3 is one greater than an exact multiple of 24.

For example, 7² = 49= (2 * 24) + 1

People who haven't gotten into habit of googling stuff in the last 20 years might not get into it at all anymore because of how search engines are gamed with SEO spam tactics nowadays in c/showerthoughts@lemmy.world

I didn't have a Twitter account but I needed one for a day.

Creating a Twitter account requires the solving of five "prove I'm not a robot" puzzles. They are not easy. There are two images from different perspectives and - non-intuitively - you need to click on arrows to move a person icon in one image to the same place it is on the other image.

The images have slightly different perspectives. It's not always obvious what the arrow buttons will do.

I got the fourth (of five) wrong. Did I have to do it again? No, it took me back to the beginning: five more to do.

If Elon doesn't want Twitter users, he could just say.

I've never used Proton Pass so I can't comment on which is better. However, my wife and I have both used Bitwarden for a number of years and have no complaints. Works with Brave, Chrome, Firefox; works on Linux, Mac and Android. We don't have Windows or iPhone so can't comment on those. We can share selected passwords between us.

And it all just works.

Gliding. There's something remarkable about being able to fly hundreds of kilometres without an engine, just relying on the forces of nature.
