I was looking at ISPs yesterday as my current contract ran out so they're taking the opportunity to wring me for all my money. One place I looked at has a regular price and "members price" for every plan. I go to see what a membership entails and it points me to download an app. No clue if the membership is free or not because I don't want or need an app for every utility and purchase I make. People like you and I are not the norm but from my viewpoint you're being reasonable and the world has lost all sense of normalcy and reason.

I'm sorry, "my old cult"? Care to give some background? Obviously if you'd rather not that's completely up to you :)

I think you'd appreciate The Prisoner. One of the core themes of that show is the misuse of technology by the ruling class

My parents got an EV recently and whenever you start it up you have to hit OK to a data collection thing on the touch screen before it let's you drive off 🥴

To avoid these things I use uBlock Origin and Consent-O-Matic

I love that they think upping prices will keep people around to pay those prices?

Sometimes if I'm stressed I play guitar and something I quite often play is Time After Time!

I'm all for animal rights and veganism but let's put this in the perspective where you can buy a whole frozen chicken for a few quid due to how industrialised the creation and distruction of life is. In a world where that is the norm and random bigots are trying to take away autonomy from kids who are already having an awful time, this feels appropriate to me. While I'd probably have preferred if it didn't involve crickets and was a stinkbomb instead, I think a biblical plague does have an undeniable flair to it.

It's worth noting that the man in the centre of this banner, Samuel Johnson, is currently in prison after digging a tunnel under a road in order to stop oil being distributed. You can email him and other prisoners words of support via the addresses on this site: https://rebelsinprison.uk/rebels/ Emails go via "prison buddies" so anything horrid will not get through.

Minetest has been more a platform for making games on than a single game for at least a decade, since they added lua scripting. Seems like you're outraged over nothing with no real understanding of what Luanti has been and aims to be.

What a waste of dead dinosaur

Solidarity protest at Crown Prosecution Service, as civil servants are under growing political pressure to ignore their Code of Conduct and breach international laws

New tory policy on trans kids just dropped: force them to transition or we take them from their families 🙃 They're really hoping that all the trans kids kill themselves and some have due to law changes already. Bad news for them is that there's never been world without trans people and there never will be.

Obviously not the solution but it's a tiny step in the right direction.

The UK government are set on eroding any right to protest that is left. Please do anything you can. I don't care what banner you do it under, just please do something.

Michel Forst, the UN Special Rapporteur on Environmental Defenders, has scalded the government for their draconian crackdown on any people trying to sound the alarm but as we've seen recently, there is no justice system and countries cannot and will not hold each-other to account. You can read his report here.
