Spez is free to do whatever, but he was such an asshole about it. Especially when he lied about Christian Selig blackmailing him, and when Christian Selig gave the call as proof that he didn't, Spez tried to make him look the bad guy by accusing him of "leaking calls"... he even said before that he wouldn't charge for API in 2023 but then he made an abrupt announcement that he would in ONE MONTH, with high fees. Developers would need time to readjust their app to optimise the use of API calls and one month is not enough. Why can't Spez just be DIRECT that he wants to discontinue 3rd party apps? Why was he so wishy washy and vague instead of actually telling others what the hell he wants? Then he had some sort of fantasy where we are his "serfs"... which is kinda disgusting. Look man, I've only used 3rd party apps for a few months and could return to the official app with no difficulty, but I seriously don't like being under that person. At least on the Fediverse I can choose who my admin is. (Kbin btw)

Spez was the problem, not the reddit community.

What karma? Spez started it by being a liar 🤷‍♂️ so I say it is natural that people stop supporting him.

Search up neko subliminals on Youtube and neko journal on Wattpad. She may be that sort of person

Yes, but from my end actually. I thought I had the ability to control the weather, and I went down this rabbithole when I read stuff about Mythicals and AWTOK from Wattpad. That place was wild, there were people claiming to be relatives of gods and were the "chosen ones" to represent mythicals in the war or some shit like that. One of them had a discord community server at one point and claimed they could "detect your mythical type" (some people tried using different accounts and they got different results each time LOL). As to how committed they are, they would listen to subliminals, practice magic every day, make designs for their desired mythical type, etc

Considering most of reddit's comments are either one-liners and jokes, it's not that hard to get upvotes as a bot... but how'd you spot one? I'm afraid that I didn't learn the ability to distinguish between bot and human.

17/20. I got 90% in detecting fake news, but 80% in identifying real news...

I don't know how it would have differed from Reddit in this regard, but it would be quite suitable for a forum website to give thorough reviews of books. Some people give reviews of books on Tiktok where they just say the main topic of the book and that it's 'good'... good in what way? And like what other commenters have mentioned, some love too for nonfiction. Maybe we could even have discussions for fanfiction?

It's almost a relief that I was (relatively) recently introduced to 3rd party apps that it made me care enough to move to Kbin in protest of Reddit's actions. The future there is bleak.

So imagine NSFW (or 18+) as a circle and sexual content as a smaller circle within it. Some people look for NSFW (say, combat footage), but not porn. If a post was designated within "sexual content", it would also put it within the realm of NSFW, so it won't show up to someone who doesn't want to see NSFW, but if someone is fine with NSFW but not sexual content, they won't see porn, but will be able to see NSFW.

Last night, I used Redact to delete all my comments, then altered the settings to make an exception for one and only one subreddit. To check if I even had comments left in that subreddit, I kept an eye on my comments through Infinity. At first the comments were being deleted one by one, then suddenly it showed a "No comments found" screen half-way through the deletion. So I looked through a post in that subreddit where I entered a discussion, and it turns out that my comments there were still up, despite my comments tab showing nothing. I then checked RiF and it didn't show my comments through my profile. Today (after having deleted everything), I checked through my comments in my post in another subreddit, and it turns out they were still up, despite the fact that I didn't make exceptions for it. Still found no comments through my profile.
