There is a fun fun sci-fi book called "Deepness in the Sky" by Vernor Vinge. The Humans use epoch time with si prefixed Seconds for time,

It got so bad we had a war because of fake news, so we passed some laws to not let it happen again, then Ronald Reagan got those laws removed, and we are back after it.

The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers.

It's chrome but with ram management. Microsoft solved the issue somehow, so edge with 1000 tabs doesn't big things down like chrome with 1000 tabs does.

Doesn't that almost always require a significant government intervention/regulation.

undefined> 5e is boring as hell to both DM and to play.

My experience this is 100% the group, the system is secondary to the quality of DM and other players. A good group will have fun in any system.

For actual towing capacity it's a physics problem. Do they have to be so big, for the performance they provide, yes. Can we make do with lower performance and therefore smaller trucks, sure, but good luck convincing people that's what they should buy.

ford has trucks in a trim level they call XL, which have no frills. Best "feature" is that you can power wash the inside... not because it's made to do that, but because there is nothing you could damage doing it... Ranger XL is at $27k if you take it with no upgrades or addons...
