I love my kindles. I got the Kindle 3 Keyboard (dead battery and dead pixel), 1st gen Kindle Paperwhite (scratched screen, uneven lights), and Kindle Voyage (cracked screen, otherwise is perfect).

I don't really mind its a closed system, I transfer my books via calibre anyways.

I can understand, but I do love the Carpenters.

premium pricing has really climbed recently

I got lucky and grand-fathered in, I love pocketcasts but I am hesitate to recommend it anyone now due to its price.

I have mix feeling about this, I have many English podcasts that I would love to recommend to my non-english speaking friends, so I feel very excited about this idea. But again, I felt the podcasters are being abused in someway with this.
