Thank you. No way I was giving her free stuff after she spoke to me like that. I'm not encouraging that behaviour.

Not a lot. I had a customer witness all this who also told the manager. So while the manager was on my side, he didn't say much as to how to handle it.

At one point I had a job handing out sample chocolate at supermarkets. I was setting up my stand. This was during covid, so we had to disinfect everything, set up a clear shield on the stand, plus put on gloves and hand out chocolate with disinfected tongs. I also had to get changed into my uniform.

I said I'll give you some if you come back in five minutes as I'm still setting up.

She lost her mind. Started calling me a fucking bitch, bad sales person, that she knows the owner of the chocolate company and will get me fired. Complained about me to the supermarket manager. When I went to change into uniform she was following me around still carrying on.

After I had set up she came back and said I'll have that chocolate now. I refused to serve her. I said sorry I don't need to take your abuse. She responded by saying you're the abusive one lol. Wild.

I think I was about ten and an older girl down the road showed me and my friends Pet Sematary. There was a scene where this creepy ass girl chokes in bed and that scared me for years. I slept with the light on and was too scared to roll over in case she was in my bed. It's probably so cringey now though if I was to re-watch it.

On board with the thrift shops! I got a $250 brand new wok for $10 and it's the best one I've ever used.

Hi everyone, I'm new to working out. I've mostly been walking and rowing. On Monday I incorporated body weight strength training, which included squats and lunges. Today is now Wednesday and I'm feeling the pain in my legs. How do I recover from this? Should I stick to my routine or take it easy today? I do warm up/warm down, stretch and eat protein heavy foods btw. I also really want to keep going as it helps my mental health. TIA.

For me I would be a young adult during the late 80s early 90s in New York. Something about the city and music.

Travelling is awesome, to travel to a place and time and live out some years would be even better.

Adopted her a year ago from the shelter. She's missing a bunch of teeth, has a wonky eye and gets grumpy if she doesn't get her way but to me she is perfect. She turns 14 soon and will live out her golden years with me.

G'day! I am looking to build a jellyfin server with the arrs through docker. Any advice is welcome.

I want to use quicksync and have expandable storage. An SSD cache would be nice too. Not fussed about back ups for this media as important files I have backed up 321. I can't afford a Synology Nas. I already have a bunch of SATA HDD's with media on them that I would like to utilise in this build.

I was thinking of some type of hard drive bay and an Optiplex/Thinkcentre?

Question is, how does the PC and the hard drive bay connect? Do I need any other hardware? Am I even on the right path here? Go easy on me, I'm new to this and on a budget. Thanking you all and here's to cutting the cord!
