GDPR doesn't require them to ask if they would just not violate our privacy. In other words, it's perfectly legal to assume "no" if they have no means of asking.

Truth. I have a decent amount of spare Google Rewards credit to spend on games but there are no good games to get. (any recommendations?)

It is. But the industry would rather have all of us subscribing because that's a constant profit and they love constant profit. They'd rather have 100% subscribing and 0% buying than 10% subscribing and 100% buying.

He means that the subscribers don't stop buying games elsewhere. They do both instead of migrating from one model to the other.

Youtube Music worked just fine with uBO the last time I checked, and not a single ad either.

Do we really own any games at all? We own licenses, nothing more. Even if it's on a DVD.

Do you have any source on that? I planned to get one soon and that's worrying. So far I've found this post after a quick search, which claims PD is supported.

did people forgot how to customize their android?

Sadly yes. It's especially evident to me whenever LineageOS is mentioned as THE way to install a non-standard OS. Not that long ago there were dozens of options for each device and Cyanogenmod (the grandpa of LineageOS) was just one of them, albeit a quite large one.

It's not about whether they actually care. It's about whether I'm worried they might care. It's very stressful for neurodivergent people.

There is no "best WM", only "best WM for you". If you're deep enough into this rabbit hole to install an alternative WM, at this point you're the best judge of what's the best, really.
