Or maybe a very small bear and bear trap

Finally scheduled the two root canals I need. I get pretty bad anxiety talking on the phone, especially to strangers so doctor’s appointments are always hard. But I finally did it so I’ll be done with this pain soon.
I don’t know about this case, but in the past, the candidate had purchased a block of rights from a record company so they had the rights to use it but something about the way those contracts work allows the original artist to forbid them from using it even after purchasing. I’m not an expert by any means though.
I think this is a great move until we have something rock solid to prevent this. There are tons of image hosting sites you can use (most of which have the resources to already try to prevent this stuff) so it shouldn’t really cause much inconvenience.
So I looked into it further and didn’t realize the 120% of the previous salary was an option, I thought it was always the average of the top 5 salaries of their position.
So in that case, it does help a little.
As for how many tags you can put on, it looks like the 3rd time gets so expensive that it’s generally never used. But the fact that it’s 120% of the previous salary does make it pretty unlikely they’d tag him next year. That definitely makes this (and Barkley’s deal) make way more sense.
I use the Hide Read Posts feature through the app I use (Memmy) because the feature through Lemmy itself is really bad. It caused all sorts of issues for me, including the ones you listed.
I’m not sure it’s worth that now he can still be tagged two years in a row, unless I’m misunderstanding how this works. If he had signed the tag, they could only tag him one more time.
I’ve done the opposite.
“So excited to do karaoke later! I can’t wait until it’s my turn!” 27 beers later, I go home trashed before my turn comes up
The joke would’ve worked just as well and not been an outright lie if they used “professional driver” or even just “driver”
I get your point, but I think lemm.ee is still so much smaller than lemmy.world that it’s not much of a problem (at least not yet).
For what it’s worth, you can turn that off for any app without going through the hassle of setting up a shortcut. It’s in the Notification settings for each app.
