US weapons Trump would provide, most likely.

I'm really worried he'd straight up help Russia tbh. Why wouldn't he?

Look I'll just say that I hadn't seen it until just about a year ago, had been spoiled of most of the plot and many iconic scenes, and it still became possibly my favorite movie of all time.

That movie has held up unthinkably well in every regard, even the effects are still superb. It's a masterpiece and you very much should watch it.

Difference is that crypto is barely even a currency, it's basically just a vehicle for speculation. Visa is actually useful.

All crypto is essentially designed around competition for who gets to be the one mining it. Things escalate, and that's how you end up with these ridiculous crypto farms that use as much power as entire cities. No crypto currency is "green". And UNLIKE cars, lights or banking, crypto serves no purpose, it's currency that doesn't get spent, it's basically just there to fuel speculation for tech bros.

Crypto is a complete waste of energy, it's not 'big money spinning Bitcoin as negative', it's just objectively idiotic, don't listen to that comment.

If you haven't, I recommend watching Dan Olson's documentary "Line Goes Up" on Youtube.

I suppose so, but I believe they always make sure not a single trace of Earth life is left on the equipement they sent to Mars, for obvious reasons. So they already control for that.

Besides looking pretty messy, I'm not sure this does any harm.

I'm glad the article mentions that in this case, it really doesn't matter; like, there seems to be nothing to 'pollute' on Mars (also 7 tonnes is not much at all). Bit of a strange headline to me.

Billionaires really need to stop stealing their ideas from viral joke tweets.

Had the movie not come out, no one would be excited for this, no one would care how "more faithful" it looks.

At the end of the day this adaptation has no reason to exist, and I have no expectation it'll be any good.

Hope I'm wrong, of course.

That's when it hurts the most. When you feel like things are working out great, when you pour your heart and soul into it, and they suddenly lose interest, and you're not even granted an explanation as to why or what you might've done or said wrong, if anything. Just left feeling like you're simply not a lovable enough person, and never will be.

I feel like the solution is pretty simple: if you want to AI copy someone's voice and put it in your project, you have to hire them and pay them as normal, and they have to give consent to let the AI use their likeness.

Otherwise it's theft.
