It's just little tiny things wiggling around in wires. They're always there, and if you wiggle them just right you can make rocks think!

I mean apparently from the post text a mudik is an exodus and the other words are a place name? Seems sus.

The worst thing imo is when a form will say they need to verify your identity, so they ask you to give them a phone number you can receive a text at to do a 2fa.

...how, exactly, does that verify anything other than that I own access to a phone number that can receive a text?

You know, it's funny. Those look like words. But I, as an entitled speaker of the English, cannot be bothered to click the link to find out if they are.

I take food from the baker and carry it to people's homes directly in exchange for custom. We call it "being a delivery girl". The amazing part is what the baker makes, it's called "pizza"

Girl is developing a very clear relationship with another girl, building over multiple arcs. And then a different author gets to write a book and instead of even trying to be subtle he just has the characters up on stage, announcing how they feel (it makes me feel angry):

Chandra had never been into girls. Her crushes — and she’d had her fair share — were mostly the brawny (and decidedly male) types like Gids.
