The movie, "Big Miracle", seems to have been based on a real event known as "Operation Breakthrough". There was a time where something like this would have the entire world holding it's collective breath and doing all it can to save the animals. Today, hardly anyone knows it's happening. 😢

 

Footage aired by the Japanese broadcaster NHK shows a pod of orcas, also known as killer whales, apparently trapped in drift ice off the coast of Hokkaido. At least 10 were seen poking out of a small gap in the surface and struggling for air.

I mean, sure, but I feel it probably wasn't the greatest unmasking. Some of the stuff was just plain ignorant and embarrassing ... for the lawmakers. Like this exchange with the Tik Tok CEO. I feel like they probably don't really understand what they are up-in-arms about. 🤷‍♀️

Epic lost their case with Apple regarding Fortnite, yet now Epic are looking to make Fortnite available on iOS in EU. But from the article it seems an alternate "app marketplace" would still need Apple approval anyway. It will be interesting to see how all this is going to work.
