If I read an article and then I reference it or summarize it myself, that isn't copyright infringement. There's no difference if I have a computer do the work for me. It's fair use.

Lock out procedure wasn't followed properly. You're supposed to check that equipment is in a safe state before you go into a dangerous area like that.

If it's free then why do I pay ~$150/ month between phones and home service?

It was never about self defense. It's about people wanting to own cool guns and trying to justify owning them. It's also about gun manufacturers wanting to sell expensive guns to guys with more money than sense.

Self defense isn't the issue. The 2nd amendment does not give you an absolute right to own any gun you want to. Guns are already restricted by type. An AWB doesn't completely restrict your ability to keep and bear arms and therefore doesn't infringe on the 2nd amendment as you still have access to reasonable alternatives.

Shouldn't you be paying the people who built your house royalties then?

I also open up my eastern/southern facing drapes/blinds in the morning to allow the sun to heat up the house through the windows for some free heat throughout the day.

My thermostat has a setting which allows for a greater temperature swing. I have it set at 2*. With the temperature set at 68f the heat refill not come on until the temperature reaches 66f. This causes the heat to run longer but less frequently, which is more efficient than running in short bursts. I also have a setting which runs the fan for a few minutes after the heat stops which scavenges the remaining heated air out of the air ducts.

I agree, however, if you're forward thinking you can drop ship stuff from Amazon to the hotel and have it waiting for you when you arrive.

Is your device rooted already? If it is, then you can copy the entire disk to a Linux PC using dd. If it's not rooted then your only option is to copy your personal files and nothing else.

As far as physical backups go, a smaller company will send a tape copy home with an employee as an off-site option.

The great irony being that Bing Crosby had a very famous song called "happy holidays" that is featured in the movie "holiday inn" and if you don't like a Bing Crosby Christmas movie you're a goddamn communist.
