Barbie literally started as a feminist icon. Literally go watch the movie it explains this.

"Woke" is about shoehorning in extreme progressive political "traits". Whether that's in preaching the ideology, acting it out (turning white characters black, or adding extended lgbt scenes, etc), and so on. If you watched the barbie movie, what people mean by "woke" is mattel's behavior in the movie. In the movie, mattel's behavior is presented as "performative feminism" that's not genuine, but done for sales and PR/branding. The movie drags mattel hard for this and jabs at it several times. Mattel in the movie is "woke".

Sasha, at the beginning of the film, is 'woke'. She literally calls Barbie a fascist, and later "white savior". Her character is "woke" but realizes how harmful that is.

People saying Barbie is woke is baffling, because a large part of the movie is criticizing woke stuff.

I unironically call things woke, and have a problem with "woke" movies, and am usually in 100% agreement with the conservative take on this matter. They're just wrong about Barbie. Barbie isn't a woke movie. Most of them are getting that "Barbie is woke" because it does a battle of the sexes thing, and it really kicks ken while he's down (but gives him a satisfying resolution at the end). But since most of these people haven't seen the film, they're really just listening to some braindead takes by commenters and political figures. Like they're seriously unironically taking the 2001 space odyssey parody scene as "anti-mothers" when literally the whole core message of the movie was pro-motherhood. They're just wrong.

Futurama is literally a comedy about everyday life (in the future), and black mirror is literally a commentary on modern day life. Perhaps watch stuff that isn't focused around parodying or doing comedy on real life stuff?

That said, a lot of metahumor and political commentary ends up in western media these days because the people making and controlling the stuff have this fetishization of deconstruction and attacking everyday things. Hence why it's so rampant, even in places it doesn't belong.

It contains a remix of it though by Nikki Minaj and Ice Spice. The remix is called "Barbie World" and can be found here.

and how you’d like it to respond to your questions.

Isn't it still censored though? After a while it started refusing to do just this.

You should try playing Cattails which is basically exactly that. You play as a stray cat living a regular cat life. You can hunt, socialize with other cats (some are nice, some not), etc. No humans, just cats. The start of the game you get abandoned by humans I think?

what baffles me is that this even happens to less popular games that you wouldn't expect people to buy. Like why is princess debut on ds $80?

Nintendo games don't really drop below $50 or $60 tbh.

On reddit you can't see the previous version of the comment, only that it's been edited. I had a typo/slip in my previous comment haha. I meant youtube. youtube+twitter allow you to see previous versions. Reddit only puts a note if it's edited after a few minutes of being posted (but not immediate edits)
