I'm so much more competent as an adult. So I'm enjoying some games a lot more as an adult. I also have less time. So some grindier games I am not enjoying as much.

[–] Omegamanthethird@lemmy.world 6 points 17 hours ago

I'm actually worried about what my kids will be taught.

[–] Omegamanthethird@lemmy.world 4 points 18 hours ago

Also, if they are look at the ups and downs, hopefully they invested when it hit the dip.

I use Connect on Android. I'm not sure if tagging is a function of the app or of Lemmy. I've only really used it a few times. It shows up on the three dots under a person's comment or on their profile, "add user note".

[–] Omegamanthethird@lemmy.world 6 points 19 hours ago (4 children)

Thanks, I've updated the tag to "Russia Sympathizer".

[–] Omegamanthethird@lemmy.world 6 points 20 hours ago (13 children)

I definitely have you marked as maybe pro-Russia because you're openly mocking criticism and helping the pro/neutral-Russia narrative. I don't think it's intentional, but I'm not ruling it out either.

I can't access the link you posted. So I'll take your word for it. But I can't see how many votes it has or what their reasoning is.

[–] Omegamanthethird@lemmy.world 8 points 21 hours ago

Since I was curious, Brady lost to 29 teams. Vikings, Bucs, and unsurprisingly Patriots never beat him.

[–] Omegamanthethird@lemmy.world 50 points 22 hours ago (2 children)

Thanks. I definitely thought "total" meant total.

[–] Omegamanthethird@lemmy.world 19 points 22 hours ago (17 children)

I haven't seen that response unless someone has credible connections to Russia, like Trump or Stein.

Also, her complaints are 100% valid.

Ironically you're the one dismissing criticism of people supporting Russian interests in a completely unrelated post.

[–] Omegamanthethird@lemmy.world 16 points 22 hours ago (19 children)

I can't wait for Democrats to accuse one of their own of being a Russian asset.

Why would they?

Bonus rankings! This one is more straightforward. Teams get points for wins. They get more points for beating good teams and fewer points for beating bad teams. (+32 for beating the best team, +1 for beating the worst). Teams lose points for losses. They lose more points for losing to bad teams and fewer points for losing to good teams. (-32 for losing to the worst team, -1 for losing to the best). The points total was reset with the first game of the season.

Sorry for the delay. This is only based on the week 8 results, not the TNF game.

This is Week 8 of the NFL Title Rankings of the 2024 season. See here for last week’s rankings.

2 of the 6 teams with an upset actually ended up lower than their last week, because they moved down further than they jumped the team they beat.

The Chiefs beat the Raiders to keep the NFL Title Belt and first ranking. The Chiefs will hold the NFL Title Belt until their first loss of the 2024 season. The Bucs will have a chance to take the title belt this Sunday.

The Titans lost to the Lions and will remain last until their next win. The Titans will have a chance to move out from last when they play the Patriots.

The threat of splitting the vote is a good reason to run, if you feel like your position isn't being taken seriously enough AND that it's important enough that everything else is worth losing.

The problem is that the majority of the Democrats are on board with green initiatives. The only holdup on the $10T program before was Manchin. She has now pivoted RCV, or more specifically destroying the duopoly because they are the enemy for "reasons".

Also, she's said that she wouldn't pull out even if the Dems gave her what she wanted. So it doesn't really work as a threat either.

I'm not looking at obvious scam websites, unless the poster is actually unsure about it. But I was a community for sites that seem legit, but I'm skeptical for some reason.

I've been curious about 6DS.com, which has shirts identical to 6dollarshirts.com but costs more. What's also weird is that their Facebook page lists both sites. But their posts switched to links to 6DS.com in April.

This is an objective, unbiased ranking in the same vein as the NFL Title Belt. As such, the number 1 ranked team will always be the same as the current NFL Title Belt holder. You can see the original belt that inspired my own here, which they are now updating again.

This is Week 3 of the NFL Title Rankings of the 2024 season. See here for last week’s rankings.

10 of the 16 games this last weekend ended with the lower ranked team jumping the higher ranked team.

The Chiefs beat the Falcons to keep the NFL Title Belt and first ranking. The Chiefs will hold the NFL Title Belt until their first loss of the 2024 season. The Chargers will have a chance to take the title belt on Sunday.

With the Panthers beating the Raiders, and 3 other bottom ranked teams winning, the Chargers are now last place until their next win. The Chargers will play the Chiefs Sunday to move out from last.

If the Chargers are able to beat the Chiefs this weekend, they could move from last to first.

The secretary of state's response filed Monday agrees that a staff member got an e-mail asking for a copy of what to submit. It states that a staff member replied with a Word document.

However, the response states that what the staffer emailed was "an internal recordkeeping document" and not any sort of template. The response states that no such template exists.

The response also denies Arkansans for Limited Government's claim that attorneys and representatives with the secretary of state's office assured the group it had filed the necessary paperwork.

He appeared to reply: "Don’t miss Trump next time."
