Yeah, you can tell it’s a native app. I love Memmy too but it’s just not as smooth, and it gets auto closed way more than Mlem.

Can you give a concrete example where CarPlay has been implemented properly and a bug still exists?

The “gun show” loophole is the “I want to sell my gun to someone who isn’t a firearms dealer” loophole.

Terming it a gun show loophole makes legislators go after gun shows as if dealers are selling firearms there to anybody without a background check.

It also leads into legislation like the recent proposal for preventing non-dealers from turning a profit on gun sales( many guns increase in value over time, discouraging private sales in general)

What most people can agree on is universal background checks for private sales, but because of weasel words the conversation is poisoned.

This is simply not true. Plenty of natives fought against other natives, whether independently, or with US troops, or for bounties.

Debating whether or not fission is green has given the fossil fuel industry free rein over energy production for the last 60 years.

We could have a Fukushima every year and a Chernobyl every 5 and it would pale in comparison to the loss of life and habitable land we’d be giving up to climate change.

A bunch of cops tip toeing around your house getting ready for a raid makes for a pretty unambiguous signal to your amygdala.

Google has killed plenty of things that work just fine. Being a bad product has nothing to do with cancellation, it is an organizational illness.

I can easily accept a blind npc or pc, and also a wheelchair npc, but a wheelchair pc is a bit convoluted in a fantasy setting. Like this was literally a subplot in doctor strange. There is just too much power in player parties to not knock this out in the first few adventures.

Whether through healing or artifacts or levitation. Just makes no sense unless you want the tactical “guy in a chair” trope, or want to have navigation be a major part of each story.
