China invading Taiwan is a fantasy for the foreseeable future.

We have seen what hastily deployed US weapons can do against Russian hardware in the Ukrainian invasion.

Taiwan has been stockpiling US weapons(missiles, jets, tanks) for decades, and Chinese hardware and doctrine is not as proven as the Russians. China will see immense losses for their prize, and that’s if nobody intervenes.

This is basically the core of Republican ideology. Living off of the benefits of society while claiming to be 100% self made and then destroying the underpinning of that social fabric because it “isn’t needed”.

The NACS pivot is going to keep them relevant longer than I’d like. The gap between the supercharger network and everyone else is astounding and nobody is going to close that gap any time soon.

What’s the long term plan here? Keep letting Russia annex portions of neighboring countries in hope that they will stop annexing territory?

Man you’ll freak at the exotic chemicals needed to clean windshields.

Looks like Subarus are also defective. More excerpts from my owners manual:

Salt, chemicals, insects, tar, soot, tree sap, and bird droppings should be washed off by using a light detergent, as required. If you use a light detergent, make certain that it is a neutral detergent. Do not use strong soap or chemical detergents. All cleaning agents should be promptly flushed from the surface and not allowed to dry there. Rinse the vehicle thoroughly with plenty of lukewarm water. Wipe the remaining water off with a chamois or soft cloth. Wear rubber gloves and use a hand brush when washing down underbody, inner fenders and suspension to effec- tively remove mud and dirt off.

What kind of a shitty automaker would require such care after just some tar or bird droppings!

As expected, cars need washing.

Stupid article.

Look, here's an excerpt from my car's manual:

To help prevent corrosion:
Wash the vehicle regularly to prevent corrosion of the body and suspension components. Also, wash the vehicle promptly after driving on any of the following surfaces.
. roads that have been salted to prevent them from freezing in winter
. mud, sand, or gravel
. coastal roads

Now let's write a headline to match.

Subaru: You'll have to wash dirt off your Crosstrek ASAP to Avoid Corrosion.

Wow, can I be a journalist now?

The thing about Google is that they have one of the highest profit-per-employee metrics in the whole industry.

In fairness it only took like 30 years to develop advanced car culture.

The utility of the horse and the breeding and lack of predators would’ve made them pervasive in no time.
