Half the car sales in China are electric. The fact of the matter is that most of the buyers are poorer then Americans who refuse to buy EVs for the most part, being well below global average.

The current budget allocation is about as high as the one in the 2024 budget was initially. They just added further spending over the year. Th other part is using Russian money instead. The real reason this is the current state, is that they want to get the budget passed as quickly as possible and the debt brake means that any funding for Ukraine has to be balanced with a cut in social spending. Obviously that is not popular.

The year is 2024 B.C. the world is entirely occupied by the climate activists. Well, not entirely... One small village of indomitable businessmen still holds out against the climate activists. And life is not easy for the businessmen who garrison the fortified camps of Wallstreet, Riad, Moscow and London...

It is and it is actually even worse for Russia, as it is not just Chinese, but also Central Asian banks. That makes migrating to Russia for work even worse for them. Russia already has labor shortages, so this will bite badly.

They are pretty much all mostly government owned. Especially the big ones. The CCP tells them which industries they are supposed to lend to. However they are allowed to choose the companies and also get to do some independent business, if that makes money.

The problem is that Russia is a small fish on the international stage, but the US and EU are massive. All Chinese banks have ties to them and rather not receive secondary sanctions.

Most have not been silent. They mostly said that Ukraine is allowed to use Western made weapons in Russia including Kursk. Idk what the Russians are talking about.

The idea is to not built new cruise ships. The old ones should be used and using them as apartment buildings is a good idea.

You can not do it with feudalism. The problem is that we need to take from the rich and allow every single human being a decent material lifestyle. We can not do that with feudalism, as that would mean the poor get poorer and the rich stay rich.

Golf carts and other electric buggies are an interesting choice as well. Also electric scooters and motorcycles are a thing. Especially in hilly parts of the world, they would make a great alternative to bicycles.

Another interesting feature would be using the electric motor and or the electricity of a battery to power modular add ons. Tractors have that in real life. I am talking digger, winch, crane, large drill, a press, sawmill or whatever else might be useful needs a lot of power and makes some sense to be portable.

A few ideas:

  • families tend to be non capitalist. We hand over a lot to our children without asking for repayment
  • exchange networks are common among friends. You help somebody out and do not get anything in return immediatly, but a later when they need help, you come and help them
  • roads, schools, public transport and so forth is often run by governments, which in a democracy should belong to the people, hence all of us
  • clubs often have ownership of assets, which are shared among members. Sports fields for a sports club and so forth. Nobody tries to make money of that
  • credit unions are a common form of cutomer cooperatives
  • workers cooperatives are also a thing, although much rarer, but they work
  • creative commons like Wikipedia and open source projects like Linux, Firefox and so forth are a thing
  • a lot of people volunteer for a lot of different causes

As for buying stuff, the key here is to ask what they are buying it for. For example is having a car worth working an extra day for. That btw is rather realistic depending on the income. After all less spending = less income needed.
