Never stop an enemy, when they make a mistake.

This is really why we need to have changes in the way we live our lifes personally as well. By working 40h/week for a capitalist company, you are supporting capitalism 40h/week. Obviously it is not pure support, as part of the work might be needed or is wasted, but it certainly requires a lot of work to fight against that system to make up for it. Working for the public sector, a cooperative, a non profit or some other none capitalist workplace would help a lot with that.

Oh and in our world it is impossible to live without any sort of harm. It should be avoided, when the effort is reasonable.

Just look at Jill Steins Twitter. She is basically Gaza and attacks on the Democrats. She exclusivly attacks the Democrats. No attacks at all on Trump or the Republicans in general. She also has no problem with climate change or enviromental problems. That is very intressting for a supposed Green Party.

Other countries with similar electoral systems have Green parties with seats in national parliaments. Compare that with the UK Green Party. They are perfectly able to not just talk about Gaza, but also about UBI, more renewables, public transit, 4 day workweek and so many more left issues.

They also can take power out of the system quickly, which is extremely usefull for balancing a grid.

What are MD cooperatives? Are those mutual insurances in Polish?

What is going on in Sudan is insanely under reported. The Siege of El Fasher is horrible. Over a million people without running water and the food supply having been cut off for months. Seriously the situation could very likely be worse then Gaza right now and this is not trying to make that one look good.

The Moscow region is a net importer of electricity and both of those power plants are massive. However they also have a lot of power plants. After all the population of Moscow and Moscow Oblast combined is 21million.

Why can they not just use the school buses to create a simple very basic bus based public transit system?

[–] MrMakabar -3 points 1 month ago (5 children)

When you have the buses as batteries, they can not be used as buses. Most places use buses as a general public transport network and not just for school children. Hence they run through the entire day and need to be recharged over night. Students then just use the general public transport to go to school.

This is not a genius idea, but a waste of resources.

Two things:

  1. This is the future and that means we can change it today. In this case with new better laws
  2. Falling emissions means weaker fossil fuel industry and stronger green industry. Hence lobbying can be turned around.

If we did not raise chicken, we would have more wilderness supporting other animals.

Imho an intressting development in the completly wrong direction. However it shows the massive problem capitalism has, that it increases capital accumulation within a small group of people. It also is a strong argument against the idea of billionaires having earned their wealth.
