To preface this, I have no idea what I'm doing. This is basically my first woodworking project.

I'm making a standing, wooden door stop (as opposed to a wedge style). But I'm not sure it'll be heavy enough without some addition.

Currently, I'm glueing 3 (or 4) layers of solid 1x8 Aspen wood board together, then cutting the shape out with a band saw. Then sanding, painting, and sealing them.

Thoughts on how to, simply, add weight?

One thought I had was to have the middle layer as just the outline of the shape with the bottom cut out, so the resulting piece is kind of hollow. Then filling that space with plaster of paris.

Ugh, I'm also having the problem. I'm using eSUN PLA+ in black and white. I've even dried them out 12+ hours and store them in a waterproof box with desiccant.

I'm at my wit's end trying to figure out why it's stringing so badly. None of my other rolls before these did it.

It hasn't reached the Supreme Court for a decision, but lower courts have basically said that it's not establing a religion because it's used in a secular and patriotic fashion. (My interpretation of my understanding of the ruling).

You can blame 1956 Cold War era Congress (red scare) and Eisenhower.

The way it was worded basically said that it had to be the national motto, thereby not making it a religious text to bypass the concerns you mentioned.

On a more casual game, I can't sing Kingdom: Two Crowns enough. We'd play hours later than we intended. The Norse expansion is worth it as well.

Once you play through a few campaigns it gets same-y, so not infinite playability, but it's great.
