I was wondering if this came before or after sharpiegate.

, in my case, the U.S. government asserted a dangerous, dangerous new global legal position. Only U.S. citizens have free speech rights. Europeans and other nationalities do not have free speech rights, but the U.S. claims its Espionage Act still applies to them, regardless of where they are. So Europeans in Europe must obey the U.S. secrecy law with no defenses at all.

On what planet does that sound less than completely sociopathic?

Also I had no idea Barr was ex CIA. It explains a lot and contradicts a lot. I'm very confused by Barr.

"we tortured some folks" what? That doesn't qualify as holding accountable? /s because it's sadly needed.

Maybe. I'm just so used to it on another instance by moderators who ever ban for "civility", it doesn't even phase me. Maybe read past the words to the meaning. And don't wander into any irc channels, if that causes you offense.

Literally your first response to me in this entire thread was uncivil condescension.

Can you please copy and paste what bit seems so to you?

I've been wondering if a certain instance (not threads, a whole other discussion) might be more used than other instances, because I've also noticed a marked difference in discussion and tone. I'm well aware a lot of it can be explained away by more users coming and my own understanding becoming more informed. It just seems more cacaphoneous now.

They only asked for seven sick days a year and got three. How long does the flu last, and is it safe to have a feverish worker with other workers on a rail system, no less? I'm still annoyed on the workers' behalf, and I know no one that works for the rail system, nor anyone related to anyone employed in the industry. Right after that was the literal trainwreck and chemical spill and did the workers gain any additional sick or rest days?

Southeasterner here. We already have.

That's probably why we criminalize more and more symptoms of desperation, simultaneously creating more conditions of despair, tbh.

Nationalize health care. Cut the middlemen.

Wait till you hear about the religious Jews trying to genetically engineer the prophesied calf.
