I'd just like to note that you should indeed use the specific prompt in the description, or in my other reply here, to get a proper response from the LM. The prompt is designed to have the LM answer based only on the transcript and with a hard focus on the title, that made you click the video in the first place. That way your curiosity is sated and you can move on without having to deal with 10 minutes of bloat.

It takes the power of an LM being able to process language and the information assembled by a human. That way the LM cant drift into ambiguity or guessing.

lmao, based. The video is designed to show the method to people who never used a LM before in their life, just in case. The prompt is (its also in the description of the video):

Please read the following transcript of a youtube video and answer this: "(insert title between these quotation marks)"

This is the transcript of the video:
(insert transcript here)

make sure to turn off timestamps in the transcript before copying it.

You know how sometimes you see an intriguing title and just want to know the answer, only for the youtuber to drag it out for 5 minutes until he actual answers the thing.

Not anymore with this prompt, I used it so much that I end up being less on youtube. This method will optimize 10 minutes of inefficiently placed information down to its core of a few sentences.

its way easier to turn off telemetry on pico and you wont have 8gb of bloatware just to use pcvr. on pico you only have to make a dummy account go online once, thats it, on meta you have to use a smartphone, turn on location, then give them your phone number to even sideload and be online to do all that. You tell me whats worse.

be warned those apps are not perfectly accurate. I used android apps that take a card as reference and also the one using iphone face scan measurements, they were 2 to 3mm wider than what my real far ipd ended up being. I even had an optometrist do multiple far ipd measurements, those lined right up with this paper method. To remove bias i also made sure to mix 10 papers at .5mm steps and checked them all.

So your optometrist is very likely correct, but the paper method is also, never trust an app.

honestly, get a pico 4, they are used 200 to 250 bucks now, a killer deal. Their OS is way less bs than meta, and the streamer for your PC is just 80mb, compared to 8 gb with the quest. It also launches you straight into steamvr. Pico just figured out how to make their os actually usable.

This guide to confirm or even measure your far ipd, which is especially important for when you order a Bigscreen Beyond, but it also helps to set the lenses at a proper distance for other hmd’s, since most tend to set them too wide. Give it a try and experience peak clarity.

yeah same, i made an account on 3 instances, since i see some instances being trigger happy with defederating, its just not clear yet which instances will be the most free.
