This sounds like some Steins Gate shenanigans where Steve gets hit by a car an hour later followed by a montage of Chad trying to save Steve from various events.

Would watch while crying

The cover looks interesting, let's see what genre this is!

Slice of life... Okay

Seinen... Cool

Comedy... Alright!

Zombies... Huh

I've had a fantasy since I was young that I would live to see some start to building colonies on the moon or Mars. The older I get and realize how vast the distances are between the earth, the moon, Mars and anything else, I've realized that I don't think we'll ever really leave earth in anything more than to go into orbit around earth. People are very tied to the environment that we formed in and taking that with us to another planet will be prohibitively expensive and refreshing supplies to support that can largely only be done on earth.

Now I believe people won't make any permanent settlement outside of earth in my lifetime or ever.

There was an intermission during Hateful 8 and it was glorious being able to get a restroom break and another beer without feeling guilty of getting up in the middle of the movie. So I definitely agree we need more of those.

I usually see that on subreddits with LGBT focused content.

The only thing I can guess is their brains have been fried by dramatized TV shows and movies where plot gives all the relevant information to explain all inconsistencies for a satisfying ending. Sometimes you're just a person in a cave looking at shadows, trying to find an explanation for everything with the little information you can gather in your life is a waste.

Glad the kid didn't p-hack the experiment 👍

There was a ton of stupid conspiracy theories around the whole clones sheep thing back then. I think looking back on that time period (like two decades ago, not one) the dumb conspiracies were forgotten as they didn't lead to anything outside of fearmongering.

Same for the moon landing, there are still conspiracies that it was all faked.

It's probably just some sexist bias influencing the studies. I'm guessing the doctors performing the studies have reviewed cases from actors and actresses, who use a lot of makeup and hair spray, and still found a higher rate of lung cancer in women.

Maybe women are more likely to the doctor at the first sign of trouble rather than waiting until the cancer spreads leading to more diagnosisis?

Hmmm, which states allow aborrtion that also border Texas...

Probably just a coincidence 😉

Blocking ads is just another layer of defense in your security stack. I want to say it’s like locking your front door, but not using an ad blocker is worse than just having your front door unlocked.

Imagine you have numerous solicitors coming up to your front door everyday and you left your front door not only wide open, but off the hinges. Who’s walking into your home with the best of intentions in that situation?
