Honestly terrified for what this will mean for marginalized groups in America. I'm worried that we tend to copy American trends, so what will this mean for our future?

Well apparently all Ontarians care about is getting beer at corner stores and receiving $200 cheques!

I am looking into a career change but I've been doing the same type of job my whole career.

I have an upcoming interview for a job that sounds really interesting but I'm worried that I won't be able to highlight my transferable skills.

Does anyone have tips/suggestions?

Unfortunately I think this is one you just gotta wait out. Eventually as the older population downsizes/ moves to assisted living/ dies, houses will become available.

Also, vote for governments that view housing as a human right and not an investment.

Start learning a new language so you can move to a country that actually cares about their citizens :)

What about moving out to a nearby apartment? That way you can still be close to help your parents but have your own space to retreat to.

I played Fallout 4 when it first came out and wasn't super impressed. I beat the game but never went back to it, unlike New Vegas, which I've replayed many times. Perhaps I'll look into mods and give it another shot.

Federal prosecutors once regarded Jesse Curtis Morton as a threat to national security.

The FBI said the pro-jihadist website he helped found, RevolutionMuslim.com, inspired a number of terrorist plots. On that website, militant training videos, bomb-making instructions, praise for al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden and chat rooms for discussions among members created a multi-media stew of toxic content, they said.

In 2012, Morton was sentenced to more than 11 years in prison for his role in running the site.

Now, just four years later, Morton is free and has been hired as a terrorism analyst at a George Washington University-based think tank.

No mention of the NDP. If only that was the "something different" people were willing to try.

In reference to the last post on temperature blankets. This is my temperature blanket for the year 2022. I didn't want it to be a giant blanket so what I did was took the average temperature over two days for each row. It ended up being a bit smaller than a throw blanket. It's also evident that my tension got looser over time which made it come out pretty wonky. Overall I think it turned out pretty nice!

Finally finished this lovey bear! Credit to Cuddly Stitches Craft for the free pattern :)

True crime podcast Invisible Choir is assisting in an investigation to find out who is responsible for child abuse and exploitation. They're asking anyone with information to submit a tip.

Is there a way to hide posts? I have slight arachnophobia and want to be able to hide posts when they contain spiders without having to block a community or a user.
