2024 is the year of Linux desktop!

Given the number of preexisting huge breaches, I'm feeling a bit jaded at this point.

Sorry didn't realize you were trying to connect the systems you mentioned, I thought this was a unified approach instead of them.

PRTG maybe? It's free for 100 sensors.

Like the title says, it's meant to be a Tumblr-esque experience.

Game Pass, I have a friend who is a game hopper, not everything he picks is game pass but enough is, and while I don't use it as much as I wish I did, the phone and PC cloud play is pretty cool and makes it extra easy to poke at titles I'm curious about fairly quickly and with minimal effort.

If they learned all the right lessons from the Stargate Origins debacle.

[-] KazuyaDarklight@lemmy.world 3 points 4 days ago

I want to believe it would be good, but Stargate Origins has put the fear in me.

[-] KazuyaDarklight@lemmy.world 10 points 4 days ago

No, the real counterpoint is Stargate Origins.

Yeah, maybe I'm the one getting wooshed here, but that seems like the perfect picture for this article. Seems intentional and entirely appropriate.

I went to a well air conditioned one of these and surprisingly I don't remember it being a big deal. Looking how people are dressed here though.... probably rough.

Sharing Trouble (lemmy.world)

This may be as much a bug on the source instance as anything but I'm not sure. So I was trying to share this post from Memes@lemmy.ml;

https://lemmy.ml/post/4814128

But Sync is generating a link back to the post's record on OP's instance. https://startrek.website/post/1658921

And while the community link works fine. The link from OPs instance is buggy. On my phone at least. Firefox keeps trying to download a .bin file and Chrome opened it ok 1 time but ever since I keep getting a Jason/xml looking code snippet page instead. Going to startrek.website itself and browsing around is fine though.

If Sync could integrate searching lemmyverse.net, or a similar source, when searching for communities, I think it would really smooth out the user experience, especially for newbies. If I could set that as my default community search in the app I 100% would.

This is kind of a test. I'm having trouble posting in Risa

Can't have a Stargate community without this post being posted.

This is just the start of the sub/community, get posting!

When I try to create a community, the create button turns into a spinning icon after I click it and it just sticks like that, forever. I tried like...15m ago and that attempt is still spinning. I've tried multiple times, its not just one bugged attempt.
