I've seen a lot of fabrics that say "Dry Clean Only" because the manufacturer was too lazy, but my experience with dishes finds that the labels are generally quite accurate. Putting a non-dishwasher-safe item in usually ruins it.

Are you being purposefully obtuse? Proton is based on Wine yes, but it is it's own distinct project.

Quite the opposite, it's very very old. :)

ilk noun

Considering the thread title of "Meta", the fact that Meta used to be called Facebook, and Albatross's wording "and it's ilk", it should be safe to assume we are talking about Meta as a whole and not just Facebook.com.

Nah, it doesn't. Now excuse me while I spend 10 minutes of this 25 minute episode exposition dumping every plot point in great detail so that the viewer doesn't get confused.

I was worried of the same thing, but my purchase of several hundred CAD did not have any duties applied. Of course every country and even purchase can be different.

What if I make $25k a year but have aspirations to make $1M a year? I'm torn!

There's definitely a lot more radical ideas here than usual, but outside of lemmy.ml/lemmygrad and hexbear you will generally find a mix of normal people with progressive policies instead of CCP supporters.

Good point, I imagine you're right! I haven't shopped many VPS services, I was venting about the general practice I've seen in other services before.

Scummy, but not uncommon really. Bring in customers at the cheap tier and then once they're in your ecosystem overcharge for the higher tiers.

Time for some userChrome fuckery, me thinks.
